I’ve been busy today finishing some changes to the website - lots of little jobs that needed tidying up, plus a few new bits of functionality you may find useful.
1. If you have photos that you’d like to send us, please email them to photos@millshalligan.co.uk. These get put in to a queue for vetting and are then added to the website. Nothing rude please Mr Austin!
2. Likewise if you like one of our photos and would like the full size image, just click the “Email me the original” link under each photo - this will launch a new email message which you can send (leave the subject line as is). You should then get an email with the attached full size image (inside an hour). Note: if the original is over 6MB it won’t be sent due to ISP mail size limits.
3. By popular request (Andy) I have added another link under the photo called “Save image”. It allows you to link directly to the image and save it to your computer - as per the old website.
4. The photo gallery has also been changed slightly - each photo album is now presented in reverse chronological order (newest photos first) - this brings it in-line with the gallery page.
Any questions/problems/feature requests - leave me a comment.
Cheers
I don’t think so - not as the great British Summer continues! We’ve altered the plans for our annual boys camping trip and are moving further afield. Tomorrow we set off for Normandy, where we’re going to camp for 4 nights, just outside Bayeux.
We’re going to get to some of the D-Day beaches (hopefully the British ones, as I’ve already been to Utah and Omaha) - plus play some cricket, kick a football about and I don’t doubt a game of frisbee (after a beer or two). Photos upon our return.
Cheers
Chris
