The new cat arrives!
Friday, October 26th, 2007
So I’m sat on the sofa watching QI on TV, it’s just gone 2230 and there is a knock at the door. Kind of late for somebody to be popping round - I half expected it to be Nikki but it wasn’t.It was TNT delivering our new cat - Leopard is here!!!
The question is now, do I (A) Open it and install it (B) Get up early and backup the Macs, then do the install one by one or (C) Read up on how other people are upgrading before doing anything. Hmmmm…………let me see.
Screen sharing doesn’t required iChat
Thursday, October 25th, 2007I can’t check if this works or not, as I haven’t received my copy of Leopard yet but it would appear the screen sharing function in iChat is available externally.

Our new cat!!!
Thursday, October 25th, 2007Somewhere in the TNT parcel system is my our copy of Leopard………..they are going to deliver it tomorrow and guess what, I’m we’re not going to be in. I have just spoken to a nice woman at TNT who tells me they aren’t allowed to deliver it anywhere else or leave it without a signature. So I’m we’re going to have to wait until Saturday morning, when I’m told they will try and redeliver it. Typical isn’t it!!!!
UPDATE: It was pointed out that it’s OUR copy of Leopard and not just mine ![]()

Progress on the Kitchen
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007This weekend was rather busy with the unpacking and assembly of the new kitchen. It’s not quite finished as it took us slightly longer to re-route the pipe work than we expected. We also had to exchange a few items that were damaged, but we made a lot of progress and I’m really happy with how it’s coming together.
The full DIY album shows our complete progress (click here) and below is a photo if you just want to see what it currently looks like.
