Managed to get 75% in my first assignment of the course - which is brilliant news as I was worried I wasn’t going to get it finished in time - but thanks to jet-lag, I was up early and got it submitted on time.

It’s been ages since we’ve been up to Wales, due to other commitments and mainly because I’ve been travelling so much of late. Anyway, we spent this weekend in Wales and you’ll be pleased to know it’s almost finished. Here is a low quality image of the tiles we’ve started to put up, it’s going to look great!

What a great film - if you haven’t seen this yet, go and hire/buy it. It’s goes to show that Adam Sandler doesn’t always make childish comedy films (good as they are) - we really can act.

Not only did I get one for myself, I have had to buy one for 3 people in the UK office!!!

Sorry (to the few readers) who discovered the blog was unusable yesterday - my ISP was having problems and I’d also neglected to finish the setup of the Mac @ home, which was also causing other problems.

Normal service is now resumed and I must return to my OU studying, first tutorial tomorrow and I’m about 200 pages from where I need to be!

Or should I say there is a hole in my firewall……

I just discovered that the firewall in Mac OS X 10,5 (aka Leopard) is by default set to allow all incoming connections. I noticed this yesterday and it was confirmed by this article on the BBC website.
