I managed a near perfect score in my latest assignment - slightly annoyed that I still can’t find that extra percent - with a mark of 99%, I suppose I should be happy but I wanted the perfect score!

Is it too much to ask?

….98% in my final TMA - back of the net!

Looks like I passed the course - on to the next one in October now.

I’ve submitted my final TMA for course M150 and I’ve just registered for the October start of a level 2 course (M255)!

A slight drop in performance from TMA03 but I’m very happy with it - one more TMA to go and then I’m done (for this course).

What you won’t believe is that I’ve already started on my final TMA of this course - a month ahead of schedule - will wonders never end?

…..and I got 96% - so I must try harder for the next one!

Just got my second TMA marked - 88% which is great but I’m annoyed I made some silly mistakes which lost me marks.Anyway - onwards and upwards - TMA03 is already in progress - I’m really trying to keep ahead of those deadlines.LatersÂ

Managed to get 75% in my first assignment of the course - which is brilliant news as I was worried I wasn’t going to get it finished in time - but thanks to jet-lag, I was up early and got it submitted on time.

So, Chris is geeking out with geeky things beside me and I just got a notification that my tutor has marked my first assignment. Yey! I got 58%, which sounds absobloominlutely pants, but I can assure you 55-69% is a Clear Pass - or a Pass 3 University Scale score - as it says so in the course materials (Assignments Booklet 2007, p. 5).

Need to work on my referencing, in fact actually using some would be a start. What I also must do is “refer to evidence - research, commentary, studies or stats” (Drury, 2007 p.1). Apparently my structure is developing well, and now I need to look at “the sharp and precise focus of individual paragraphs” (Drury, 2007 p.1).

What I found hardest was actually getting a point across in very few words. 750 words is a page worth of writing - not much when you need an opening/introductory paragraph and a 100 word summary to close with your arguments and especially when you have so many ideas or points that you want to raise.

Basically, I need to stick to the material and use references from the sources within and make sure that I reference and acknowledge all of their respective works.

Onwards and upwards.
